Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP promotes two new partners

Two experienced professionals were recently promoted to the position of partner at GGI member firm Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP (GYF), a regional, certified public accounting and consulting firm based in downtown Pittsburgh (PA), USA. Megan R. Troxell was named as a Partner in the Audit and Assurance Services Group and Michael E. Weber was named as a Partner in the Tax Services Group.

Megan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and was honoured by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) in 2020 with its “Women to Watch” award, in recognition of her commitment to the profession. She is a valued coach and mentor to newer CPAs at the firm and to developing professionals in the organisations for which she volunteers.

Committed to community service, Megan serves on the boards of directors for several not-for-profit organisations. She is a graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative (LDI-XVI), a selective Leadership Pittsburgh programme that trains young leaders to effect positive future change in the region. Megan joined GYF in 2003, following her graduation from Grove City College.

As a CPA and a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Michael provides valuable expertise to the clients he serves in a variety of industries. His principal clients include manufacturing, real estate and service companies.

Michael is a graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative (LDI-XXVI), a highly selective Leadership Pittsburgh programme to develop the city's future professional leaders. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and belongs to the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA), for which he was the Tax Section past president and a member of the Young Lawyers Division.
