Prager Metis Announces Formation of Charitable Foundation - Foundation will coordinate and oversee firm’s philanthropic efforts

July 16, 2019 – New York, NY— Prager Metis CPAs is proud to announce the formation of The Prager Metis Charitable Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization which will serve to coordinate and support the philanthropic fundraising and efforts of the firm.

Former New York City Office Managing Partner, Steven Topal, an integral member of the firm’s leadership team since its inception, will be transitioning to a new role as President of the newly-formed foundation. “Each year the firm sees an increase in the number of requests for donations it receives,” stated Mr. Topal. “The formation of the Charitable Foundation is an important step in ensuring that we are the best stewards we can be for the monies that are ear-marked for charitable causes and making certain the funds are used for the best possible purposes.”
