New Partner Joins Brooks Pierce’s Raleigh Office
(Raleigh, N.C.) Nov. 18, 2016 – Leading North Carolina law firm Brooks Pierce is pleased to announce that Brian C. Fork has joined the firm as a partner in its Raleigh office. His practice will focus on bankruptcy and business litigation.

Fork’s bankruptcy practice focuses on representing creditors throughout all phases of the restructuring and bankruptcy process. He has extensive experience with foreclosures, receiverships, collection proceedings and all other aspects of creditor-debtor litigation in state and federal courts, including defense of lender liability claims. He is also an accomplished business litigator, representing companies of all sizes in complex issues including contract disputes, real estate questions, fraud, and unfair and deceptive trade practices.
Fork also has experience in litigation involving the North Carolina Constitution, most recently representing the Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the North Carolina Senate in defense of litigation filed by the Governor of North Carolina regarding constitutional separation of powers and the allocation of the appointment power under the North Carolina Constitution.
Fork, a Raleigh native, joins Brooks Pierce from the Raleigh office of K&L Gates.
